Winning the Battle Against Death! First Case of T.C.P. Performed with Advanced Patient Monitor (Touch 7) by EMTPs

For the first time in Central Taiwan, an EMTP performed T.C.P. in the field using the Touch 7 monitor under real-time medical guidance. The patient’s nearly absent heartbeat was restored to over 70 bpm and blood pressure stabilized before arrival at the hospital, where myocardial infarction was later confirmed and treated with catheterization.

The Fire Department noted that T.C.P. has traditionally been limited to hospitals, but recent investment in advanced equipment and EMTP training made this breakthrough possible. They will continue to expand resources so frontline EMTs can save more lives.
