National Taiwan University Medical Service Team Summer Taitung Free Clinic
Exhibition activities 2024/07/07
This summer, the National Taiwan University School of Medicine Student Social Service Team conducted a free clinic event across six villages in Daren Township, Taitung. The team visited local communities and wellness stations, providing over 10 medical services to residents, including dental, dermatology, family medicine, physical therapy, and medication consultations. Through the students' professional knowledge, the event helped improve the health of the local villagers!
FMTC Company, upholding its commitment to social responsibility, has long been dedicated to social welfare and community care. To support this meaningful event, FMTC generously lent Schiller 12-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) machines, enabling the students to deliver more effective diagnostic services.
With these advanced medical devices, the students were able to make accurate diagnoses and provide higher-quality medical care during the free clinic.
The National Taiwan University Medical Service Team students demonstrated their commitment to social responsibility and showcased the value of integrating medical education with community service during this event.
FMTC has supported the NTU Medical Service Team's free clinic charity activities for many years, and looks forward to continuing to work with the team to bring health and well-being to more residents in remote areas in the future!
